Radiant Heating Systems
A Radiant heated flooring system comes with either a Nexans Cable for indoor and outdoor applications or Nexans Millimats heating mats for thin set floor warming. Along with the heating cables and are the radiant heat controls. This radiant heating product helps you maintain complete comfort and control over the radiant floor heating system. Radiant heat installation of the thermostat is extremely easy and only involves two inputs. The radiant heat control is pre-programmed, easy to understand and read. It is protected by two relays and is waterproof. In addition, the Orbit heating thermostat is one the first UL/c approved GFCI thermostat!
The Nexans Millimats (heating mats) are ideal for the thin set method of laying tile. The electric heating cables are hot glued to an adhesive backed fiberglass mat to set the cable spacing and to provide a medium for securing the heating cable to the floor, which actually simplifies installation. The electric floor heating mat is available in either 120 or 230 volt and a variety of lengths to fit any room configuration. Once the underfloor heating mat is secured to the sub floor, apply a leveling agent, then thin set with a notched trowel and tile, resulting in a low profile floor elevation.
The Nexans Floor Warming Cable provides your family the ultimate in comfort and flexibility. The electric in floor heating cable is available in ready-made sets from 300 to 3100 watts, so it is ideal for warming any size, or type of room. The Nexans cable sets are easy to install for any floor plan or type of flooring and you will not need to purchase any additional building materials. Our high quality cable is woven into a fiberglass mat to set the cable spacing and to provide a medium for securing the cable to the floor, simplifying installation. Our electric in floor heating mats are also completely concealed and work under almost any surface including; tile, marble, laminates, or hardwood.
